Dance apparel

Standard dance apparel is different for every form of dance. Dancers wear different items for ballet than they do for ballroom or hip hop dancing. The right pieces of apparel can be purchased at many retail locations.

Ballroom dance apparel is usually fancy. Women wear long and flowing dresses, while men wear suits. Men can also wear nice slacks and shirts.

On the other hand, lyrical dancing is a more casual form of dance. Some lyrical dancers wear leotards. Other dancers wear normal street clothes and comfortable shoes that are made especially for lyrical dancing.
