Where can I buy leotards for my daughter?
Children’s leotards are usually easy to find. The nest place to start is the Internet. Internet shops have a large selection than most local stores. Leotards are also sold at many department stores and specialty dance shops. Occasionally you may be able to find leotards and other dance clothes at a sporting goods store, but this is not common.
I am an adult and I want to start taking ballet lessons. What is appropriate for me to wear to the first day of class?
You may want to consider wearing a leotard, tights and ballet shoes. If you are female you can wear a skirt over your leotard. Leotards, tights and ballet shoes are the most common types of ballet dance apparel.
My child was accepted onto the dance team at her school. Where do I buy her the appropriate supplies?
The school or the dance team couch should direct you to the appropriate location for your child’s dance supplies. If you are left to you own devices, try a local dance specialty shop. As a last resort you can always order what she needs on the Internet.
