Dancewear

Regardless of the type of dance that is practiced, every dancer owns a selection of dancewear. Some dancers boast a closet full of costumes, while others own the bare minimum for their craft. Either way, the appropriate dance apparel is important to all types of dancers.

Dancewear is different depending on the type of dance that is being performed. Ballet clothes often consist of a leotard, tights, shoes and possibly a tutu. Dancers who dance other forms of dance wear leotards as well, however they can also wear other types of clothes. Some dancers even wear regular street apparel when they are dancing.

Hip hop dancewear is often street apparel. Hip hop dancers wear jeans and t-shirts. Their footwear is usually a good pair of tennis shoes or casual shoes.
